   Albedo's difficulty row lays out four columns, and three of them are legible right on the select screen: EVO 6, the highlighted ULTIMATE 10 in purple, and FORBIDDEN 12, with PLAY waiting bottom right. The MIN column hides behind the arc banner in this capture — the community wiki pins it at 3. The grid behind sorts by level, so the ceiling charts cluster on this page of the shelf.

   Read the contract: ULTIMATE 10, a blank HIGH SCORE

   The pre-dive card pins DIFFICULTY to ULTIMATE and leaves HIGH SCORE empty — a first entry, before the run has a history. FREE PLAY sits top right, the jacket's red iris fills the frame, and the HUD card that stays pinned for the whole dive already reads Albedo / void (Mournfinale). No assist tag appears on this card — that disclosure lands on the result card, and the box below the notices says it up front anyway.

   Count the lanes before the first note

   The dive opens at 000'000'000 on an empty field: four key lanes A S D F, flanked by the wide Umschalt and Leer rails this HUD labels in German. Top right, the contract stays pinned for the whole run — Albedo / void (Mournfinale), ULT 10, SPEED 7.00. Everything that follows lands on these six lanes.

   

Opening: twin fields and slab pairs

   Twin fields carry the opening to chain 51

   Albedo's signature arrives early: two long fields at once, a cyan slab on the left keys and a violet one on the right, both draining while EXACTs tick the chain to 51. Steering two fields in parallel is the skill the whole chart is built around — the finale will ask for three at a time.

   Pair the violet slabs through the forties

   The counter reads 44 and the chart queues its slabs in pairs: two violet rectangles cross the D and F keys together and pay a double EXACT at the line, with more stacked upstream. Matching releases — not staggered ones — is what keeps this stretch clean.

   Split the field: violet left, green burst right

   A wide violet field floods the left lanes while a green note flares on the right rail — and the counter reads 10, so the run has already rebuilt once between these frames. The four EXACTs along the line show the recovery working: wide inputs registered, chain climbing again.

   EARLY and LATE NEAR coach your timing

   Two stamps at chain 8 — EARLY NEAR on one press, LATE NEAR on the next — are the chart telling this player their timing is drifting in both directions. NEAR still credits the note but bleeds score; at 48 NEARs on the final card, catching even a handful is worth a rank tier.

   Four EXACTs light the full key line

   The cleanest frame of the run: EXACT stamped across all four key lanes at once while a cyan beam fires up the D lane and the chain rebuilds to 15. Stretches like this are where AA ranks are made — every press inside the EXACT window, no stamps, no breaks.

   Ride the single long slab through the climax

   One violet slab runs nearly the full depth of lane S — a long, patient hold in the middle of the chart's busiest section, chain 24 and climbing. Albedo alternates between asking for everything at once and asking for exactly one finger; knowing which is coming is the read.

   The chart's last real test: violet on the left keys, a double-wide cyan field across the centre, pink on the right — every lane lit at once, four EXACTs on the board at 092'413'844. It is the payoff for all that twin-field practice in the opening, and the last obstacle before the banner.

   The banner sweeps the emptied field seconds after the final note, the final score already ghosting in at the top-left. The rank was decided by everything before it — 48 NEARs and 38 BREAKs are baked in — but the dive itself is complete on the first attempt.
