Hanabi ULT 9: 951 notes two sources agree on

Snail's House's Hanabi sits in In Falsus at ULT 9, and this page records that rung from one filmed sightread: a first clear whose result card sums to 951 notes — EXACT 741 + 84, NEAR 53, BREAK 73 — the same figure the community wiki's chart table carries, digit for digit. The score is 089'538'071, read from the DIFFERENCE row and from the HUD frozen after the last note, because the card's SCORE box is still counting when the upload stops. No grade letter appears anywhere here: the Rank box never lights. The run carries no Assist Mode, and a MAX LINK of 117 against 73 BREAKs says what the chart takes out of a strong player. Twelve frames follow the dive from the arc banner to the settled card, each deep-linked to its second.

Every frame is from TrappyTheDemon's [In Falsus Sightread] Hanabi - Snail's House | ULT 9 (176 s; the upload carries no subtitle track, so no spoken claim is used here) and is read off the game's own HUD, banners and result card at the seconds the steps link to. Two provenance notes. The score 089'538'071 comes from the DIFFERENCE row plus the HUD frozen at t=164, not from the card's SCORE box, which is still counting when the film ends — 088'429'215 at t=176, 088'682'130 on the last frame — and the Rank box stays empty, so no grade is claimed. The other three rungs of the ladder (MIN 2 / EVO 6 / FBD 11) and the tap / hold / field / flick split (313 / 228 / 202 / 208) are community-wiki figures at https://infalsus.miraheze.org/wiki/Hanabi, checked 2026-09-22, never frame reads: this film's difficulty rail is masked by a transition wipe and the card's breakdown prompt is never clicked. The 951 total is the rare case where the frame and the wiki agree. Score, MAX LINK, Miss Gauge and the encounter result stay single-source. A small PKTR LIVE badge from the recorder's setup (CrabbyTheDemon [12,875]) rides the left edge of several frames; it is capture overlay, not game UI, it never covers a number panel, and the frames are unmodified.

Pre-dive: arc, card, empty field

  1. 1

Where the song sits: A Past Best Untold

The video starts mid-wipe, and the one label that survives the transition is SELECT ARC: A Past Best Untold, the chapter Hanabi belongs to. Do not look for the difficulty column in this frame — the rail is masked away by the wipe, which is why the ladder quoted further down this page comes from the community wiki rather than from the video. The recorder's live badge is fully legible at the left edge here.

The contract: ULTIMATE 9, HIGH SCORE blank

The pre-dive card reads a 9 above DIFFICULTY ULTIMATE — the same 9 comes back on the pinned HUD card and on the jacket's corner badge in the result screen — and credits the artwork to さんぱち under ILLUST. HIGH SCORE reads a dash: no record on this account, which is half of the first-clear evidence. The right-hand panel already shows a REFLECT card selected, with figures this page deliberately does not interpret.

Read the HUD before the notes fall

An empty highway at 000'000'000 with the song card pinned top right — Hanabi / Snail's House, ULT 9, SPEED 7.00, read at full resolution. Four key lanes take A S D F; the two wide side rails read Umschalt and Leer on this German client. The encounter meter starts at zero and finishes the dive at 837.79%, so AYAME is a second scoreboard running underneath the whole chart.

Loadout, then the first chains

Check the deck — and what it does not say

The REFLECT screen lists its loadout outright: An Absent Freedom, 4AM, A Wandering Seeking Silence and Architect Advisor, with one empty CARD UNIVERSE slot among them. Just as useful is what is missing — no assist wording anywhere on this panel. Read alongside the ordinary particle drops in the result card's IOTA row, that is the evidence this run stands as assist-free.

PHASE 1 opens on spaced notes

The first phrase banks 000'322'904 at chain 4, PHASE 1 on the meter and 667 points on the encounter score. Nothing here is difficult: Hanabi ULT 9 opens with room around the notes, and the run's real question is how long a chain survives — the best this one reaches is 117.

Chain 32 while the encounter climbs

By 006'042'496 the chain reads 32 across two EXACTs, and AYAME's meter has reached 42.12% with 9'203 encounter points banked. This stretch rewards playing strictly to the beat: the patterns repeat at a spacing you can hear coming, and the damage is still ahead of you.

Mid-chart: two beams, flicks, the climax

  1. 7

    Two beams at once

A cyan hold beam and a violet field beam run in parallel at 026'126'122 — and the chain has fallen to 13, so a break has happened between these two frames. That is Hanabi's middle at ULT 9: two sustained note types on different rhythms, one hand parked on a hold while the other chases the field.

    Flick arrows at 052'212'084

Yellow flick arrows enter over two EXACTs at chain 17. Flicks are the timing ask of this rung — the stroke has to carry past the lane — and the card's second EXACT row, 84 entries deep, is what the clean ones are worth. The encounter meter has run to 455.2% by this point in the dive.

Let EARLY coach you in the climax

Deep in the dense body an EARLY NEAR lands beside three EXACTs at chain 41, the counter at 077'266'850. Direction tags are the cheapest coaching in the game: EARLY means the press arrived ahead of the window, and 53 of these are waiting on the final card. Holding a chain of 41 through this section is already a good result — the run tops out at 117.

The settle: HUD freeze, banner, card

  1. 10

The frame that fixes the score

On the emptied field the HUD has stopped at 089'538'071, chain 18, and the encounter score reading 165'533 — the same number the card prints two frames later as ENCOUNTER RESULT 000'165'533. That agreement is why this page quotes 089'538'071 as the final score instead of the SCORE box on the card itself.

Last note spent, the In Falsus counter stands at 089'538'071 for Hanabi ULT 9 with encounter score 165'533

    DIVE CLEARED, still no grade

The banner crosses a darkened highway with the German side-rail labels still visible. On an account's first entry this is the frame that matters — but no grade letter comes with it, and the Rank box stays empty on the card that follows. The upload simply ends before that box fills in.

    The card sums to 951

Line by line: EXACT 741, a second EXACT row at 84, NEAR 53, BREAK 73 — 951 judged notes, the same total the community wiki's ULT column carries. MAX LINK 117, MISS GAUGE 11, HIGH SCORE still a dash beside DIFFERENCE +089'538'071, the full amount: a first clear on this account. The SCORE box reads 088'429'215 and is still rolling, reaching 088'682'130 on the last frame, and the Rank box is empty. Below it all, the IOTA panel drops ordinary particles rather than an Assist Mode banner.

FAQ

How many notes does Hanabi ULT 9 have?

951. The result card's four judgment rows — EXACT 741, EXACT 84, NEAR 53, BREAK 73 — sum to exactly that, and the community wiki's chart table carries the same 951 for this rung (https://infalsus.miraheze.org/wiki/Hanabi), so the count is two-source rather than a lone reading. What never appears on film is the channel breakdown: the card invites a click for the full split, the player does not click, so 313 tap / 228 hold / 202 field / 208 flick is wiki-side data. The same applies to the other rungs — MIN 2, EVO 6 and FBD 11 come from the wiki, because this video's select screen is caught mid-wipe with the rail hidden.

Why does your score not match the number on the result card?

Because the upload ends before the SCORE box finishes counting. That box reads 088'429'215 at t=176 and 088'682'130 on the final frame — two mid-values of the same rolling animation, neither one final. The score quoted here, 089'538'071, is where the HUD stopped after the last note (t=164) and it is also exactly what the card's DIFFERENCE row prints in full beside an empty HIGH SCORE box. Two independent reads agreeing beats a counter caught mid-roll. And because the Rank box never lights in this video, no grade letter is claimed anywhere on this page.

How hard is Hanabi ULT 9, and what settings did this run use?

Read it as a sustained-beam chart rather than a stream: 951 notes with hold and field beams running in parallel through the middle, and flick arrows arriving later. A MAX LINK of 117 against 73 BREAKs tells you that even a practiced player cuts the chain often here, and MISS GAUGE 11 shows how little room that leaves. This run plays at SPEED 7.00 on a German client (side rails labelled Umschalt and Leer), with four named REFLECT cards and one empty slot, and with no Assist Mode — the IOTA panel holds ordinary particle drops rather than the ASSIST MODE banner another log in this set prints.

How do you get Hanabi, and is this page safe before I finish the arc?

The selector names its chapter on screen — A Past Best Untold — and our songs table files Hanabi as an Act 2 story-progress song, so it arrives through the arc rather than a hidden gate; the exact node is a wiki-side detail this page has not frame-verified, so no unlock condition is stated here. On spoilers: every frame is a menu, a playfield or a result screen, the title and jacket are visible from the second frame, and no story scene, line of dialogue or ending appears anywhere on this page. For story context, read the community wiki's Hanabi page and skip the frames.
