FFFF, FBD 11, note for note

FFFF by zts gets its FBD 11 chart re-counted in 1080p: a second sightread PERFECT DIVE settles at 100'001'149 with all 1,167 notes linked — EXACT 1,149 + 18, NEAR 0, BREAK 0, MAX LINK 1,167 printed on the card. Twelve frames walk the whole dive, then four original sections break the chart into segments, fingering, encounter notes and practice.

Numbers are read off the settled DIVE RESULT card at t≈174 (re-checked at t=176) and the parked watermark at t≈165 (2026-10-06); mid-run score and chain reads are natively cut at the seconds listed in the steps. The card prints MAX LINK 1,167 and renders its IOTA row as ENCOUNTER UNLINKED; this film has no CONNECT deck and no encounter figure to quote. Japanese-region UI throughout.

FFFF is an Act 2 story-progress unlock. The frames below show chart mechanics only — no scenes, dialogue or endings — but the song's existence hints at mid-story progress, so newer players may prefer to save this page for later.

Cold open, dashboard

  1. 1

A paused frame before the first note

The film opens cold on a PAUSED overlay — RETRY, RESUME, QUIT — frozen over a blurred mid-run field, then hands the screen to the dive. Unlike the archived old source (Skrubby, 360p), there is no CONNECT splash and no five-card deck anywhere in this cut: the run starts from the empty field itself.

    The dashboard, from zero

With the field still empty the HUD is fully readable: the top-right song card pins FFFF by zts, the red FBD 11 badge and SPEED 5.20, the keybed runs Left Shift, A, S, D, F and Space under four center lanes, and the score counter sits at 000'000'000.

The opening broadsides

  1. 3

    Wide from the first bar

At 006'142'609 the chart has already declared its grammar: a wall-wide cyan field beam lands under a stack of EXACT calls, with a yellow flick arrow arriving on the same line. There is no narrow warm-up lane to hide in — FFFF FBD 11 opens broad and expects both hands live from the first seconds.

    Watermark 170, still center-wide

At 014'486'590 the field prints the chain watermark — 170 here — as a center wide beam crosses the line under EXACT calls. The watermark becomes this page's ruler: 253, 421, 634, 729, 782 and on to 1,167.

    Side trips at watermark 253

A cyan beam rides the left lanes while a green flick flare lands EXACT at the far right of 021'639'323 — the chart's first reminder that the outer keys are never spectators. The keybed keeps its middle-four stance; the pinky (Left Shift) and thumb (Space) take the edges.

The hold-and-flick weave

  1. 6

    The weave at watermark 421

At 036'003'693 a wide yellow flick arrow sweeps across the lanes directly over hexagonal hold knobs holding S, D and F — cursor work stacked on sustained keys, both resolving EXACT. It is the combination the chart keeps returning to as the density climbs.

  2. 7

    The staircase

At watermark 634 (054'259'943) the chart stacks its signature cluster: yellow, green and violet arrows descending like a staircase across the top of the field while a wide beam pays out below. It is the densest single sight the run offers before the last stretch — read it top-down as one shape, not note by note.

    A breath at watermark 729

At 062'465'406 the field empties to a single green arrow high on the right — the run's one visible exhale. In a chart this dense the breathers are landmarks: if you are not standing in a breather when the music says you should be, the run is off-script.

The surge and the ledger

  1. 9

Twin long beams at watermark 782

At 066'933'903 the chart pairs two long violet beams descending side by side on opposite halves of the field, under a full row of EXACT calls. The two hands work independently, and neither may drift toward the other's half.

  2. 10

    Crossing 1,000 in the surge

At 086'194'227 the watermark reads 1006 — the surge past a thousand notes. The last ~160 arrive with no break pad and the steepest score climb on this film's clock; one slip and the PERFECT DIVE is gone.

    Parked at 1,167

The chain counter parks at 1,167 on the emptied field with the HUD itself reading 100'001'149 — the count closed on film before the card even renders. The archived Skrubby log froze at the same 1,167 behind its CONNECTED banner; this film needs no banner: the watermark is the receipt.

The judgment rows sum to 1,167 notes, matching the parked watermark digit for digit, and HIGH SCORE 099'958'312 + DIFFERENCE +000'042'837 closes at exactly 100'001'149. The IOTA row prints ENCOUNTER UNLINKED.

Chart breakdown, segment by segment

A perfect run is the cleanest possible specimen: no misses blur the pattern reads, so the chart's structure shows straight through. Five segments follow, each anchored to a frame above and a chain watermark. The anchors are frame facts; the reading is this page's own analysis.

  1. 1

Cold open, full width (to watermark 170)

The first bars already run wall-wide cyan fields under EXACT stacks (step 3). Nothing narrows the field to warm you up, so treat the opening seconds as a mid-chart burst and rehearse them as one. Anchor: watermark 170 at step 4.

  2. 2

    Wide-beam exchanges (watermark 170–450)

Center wide beams alternate with side-lane work — a green flick flare claims the far right at watermark 253 (steps 4–5). The beams own the middle of the field; the edges belong to Left Shift and Space. The failure mode here is anchoring everything center and swatting at the edges — the wrist swivel, not a stretch, is what reaches both cleanly.

  3. 3

    The hold-and-flick weave (watermark ~450–730)

From watermark 421 the beams start sharing the line with hold knobs and flick arrows (step 6), peaking in the staircase cluster at 634 (step 7). Holds pin fingers while flicks pull the cursor across the field — the chart is testing whether your two hands stay independent. The breather at watermark 729 (step 8) closes the section.

  4. 4

Twin beams and the climb (watermark 730–1,000)

Two long beams descend together at watermark 782 (step 9), then the run climbs toward four digits (step 10). Density oscillates rather than climbs — the score pace visibly dips around the 062'465'406 breather and steepens again after — so spend stamina on the bursts, not on a ramp.

  5. 5

The surge and the ledger (watermark 1,000–1,167)

The last ~160 notes arrive with no break pad and the fastest score climb of the run on this film's clock. One slip and the PERFECT DIVE is gone. The ledger closes at 1,167 linked — EXACT 1,149 + 18, zeros across NEAR and BREAK, MAX LINK printed on the card (steps 11–12).

Fingering for this chart

Mapped to the site's 6-key system (hand-placement guide): Left Shift on the pinky, A / S / D / F on ring, middle and index, Space on the thumb — with the mouse hand owning the upper field where sweeps and flicks live.

  • →Two hands, two jobs. The keybed hand holds the static assignment — one finger per center lane, A S D F — while the cursor hand owns Field sweeps and Flick arrows. FFFF never lets either hand idle, so set both stances before the first note.
  • →Swivel the edges, don't re-seat the center. Side-lane triangles and side holds are single visits: pivot the pinky (Left Shift) or thumb (Space) and return — the wrist-swivel style the hand-placement guide teaches for ULT/FBD charts.
  • →Flicks stay short and directional — yellow left, green right — and the overlap rule from the tutorial is enough. This chart stacks them over sustained keys late (step 10), so practice the swipe while a finger is already pinned.
  • →Split the twin beams (step 9) by hand, not by lane: one hand keeps its key while the cursor finishes its sweep. At SPEED 5.20 there is travel time between the halves — if the weave at watermark 421–729 feels crowded, re-walk the cursor path before blaming the fingering.

The encounter row and the archived deck frame

The new film shoots no CONNECT splash and no five-card deck: the settled card renders its IOTA row as ENCOUNTER UNLINKED. What follows separates what this film shows from what the retired source archived.

  • →This film: no select card, no deck, no encounter gauges — the dive starts from an empty field and the settled card's IOTA row prints ENCOUNTER UNLINKED. No encounter number exists to quote, and this page invents none.
  • →Archived under the old source's name (Skrubby, 360p, sGXqlJIe6Pw): its CONNECT splash seated a five-card loadout between Nia and Freya and its run banked 000'338'350 CONNECTED — the account state of that recording, kept off this film's ledger.
  • →Per the site's EX-charts walkthrough, the CONNECT screen feeds deck stats into the encounter math; this film shows the card's own label for the opposite state — ENCOUNTER UNLINKED — without claiming why the two uploaders' sessions differed. For deck-building rules, see the card-crafting wiki.

Practice notes

  • →SPEED 5.20 is pinned on the HUD card for the whole dive (step 2). Rehearse at that scroll before touching anything slower — at FBD density the reading speed is the chart, and slowing down changes the patterns you are practising. (The archived Skrubby source ran 5.80 on its own recording.)
  • →The failure line is real. The same chart, in a sightread uploaded the same week, ends under a red DIVE FAILED banner and a Rank A card at 091'020'986 — gauge trouble on FBD 11 kills the dive outright. The perfect run never shows its gauge state in readable form, so this page quotes no gauge numbers.
  • →Read the +18 honestly: even this PERFECT DIVE lands 18 of its 1,167 in the second EXACT row. The milestone is the full chain; the last 18 top-tier EXACTs are endgame polish, not a first-clear requirement.

FAQ

Who made FFFF?

zts — the credit prints under the song title on the top-right HUD card throughout the dive and again on the DIVE RESULT card.

How many notes does FFFF FBD 11 have?

1,167 — EXACT 1,149 + 18, NEAR 0, BREAK 0, printed as MAX LINK 1167 on a settled PERFECT DIVE card whose HIGH SCORE 099'958'312 + DIFFERENCE +000'042'837 closes at 100'001'149, with the field watermark parked at 1167. A retired 360p log of the same chart (EXACT 1,133 + 34) landed on the same count, so the tally is now dual-source; the community wiki's FBD cell has no count, and the wiki lists 1,147 notes for ULT 9 (tap 286 / hold 262 / field 443 / flick 156), quoted as community data.

What settings and loadout does this run use?

SPEED 5.20, read off the HUD song card, on the six-key keybed Left Shift / A / S / D / F / Space. This film shows no five-card loadout — there is no CONNECT splash — and the settled card's IOTA row reads ENCOUNTER UNLINKED; no Assist Mode tag appears anywhere. (The archived Skrubby source recorded a five-card deck and SPEED 5.80 on its own account.)

Will this page spoil the story?

FFFF is an Act 2 story-progress unlock, so its existence hints at mid-story progress. Every frame here is a menu, playfield or result screen — no scenes, dialogue or endings appear.
