Monitoring FBD 11: the Virtual Singers DLC headliner, closed three ways from a perfect dive

DECO*27's Monitoring headlined the Virtual Singers Song Pack — the game's first Song Pack DLC, live 2026-09-30 with v1.0.5 — and its FORBIDDEN 11 chart publishes here through a perfect dive whose card closes three ways: the judgment rows, MAX LINK and the community wiki's own total all land on 1,359. This page walks 도토리's run frame by frame — twelve stills, each deep-linking its second of the source video.

Frames come from 도토리's [In Falsus] Monitoring / モニタリング (FBD 11) PERFECT DIVE (MAX-23) (2:51, uploaded 2026-09-30, 13 views at QC time; upload metadata via yt-dlp, not frame evidence). The film's only captions are garbled auto-translations of the vocals, so nothing spoken is quoted — every number is read off the select card, the HUD or the settled result card at the second its step links. Ladder levels, credits and the DLC context were checked 2026-10-01 against the Miraheze SongList and the official Virtual Singers announcement; the wiki lists no chart designer, BPM or song length for Monitoring.

Assist status: clean as far as the film's disclosure surfaces go. The select card carries no assist tag, the film prints no Assist Mode line, and the one result card it shows renders the IOTA slot as the wide ENCOUNTER UNLINKED panel — the same disclosure form this site's other clean logs record. The standing caveat applies: one recording, no second angle. The card prints "Click any judgment for full breakdown" and the player never clicks, so no channel split on this page is a frame read.

The gate: select, zero hour, the first EXACTs

  1. 1

Read the select card: FORBIDDEN 11, fresh from the DLC

Monitoring arrives with the Virtual Singers Song Pack and its select card pins the song at FORBIDDEN 11 under the red badge, with the standing best of 099'964'541 beside it and the ILLUST credit reading VIBU. The tag at the edge of the screen says FREEPLAY: the DLC is the unlock, and no story progress gates the song — the same day-one access the announcement promised.

Zero hour: the HUD chip is the run's spec sheet

The dive opens at 000'000'000 on a highway of power pylons and traffic signs, and the song chip in the top-right corner prints the run's whole spec: Monitoring, DECO*27, FBD 11, SPEED 5.20. That speed is this film's setting, not a recommendation. What matters for reading every frame below is that the chip never changes: one song, one tier, one speed, from first note to settled card.

Let the first rows set the pace

The first EXACT calls ring at 000'607'146 as a wide violet-cyan beam crosses the judgment line. FBD opens denser than the song's lower rungs from note one, but nothing at the gate demands a stretch: keep the anchor fingers quiet, let the early wide notes land under the band's edges, and spend attention on reading the field rather than moving it.

The opening: wide beams, ribbons, holds

  1. 4

Track the watermark, not the fireworks

By 004'999'406 the chain watermark reads 68 while a violet wide beam with bracket marks crosses the line. On a run that ends in a PERFECT DIVE the watermark only ever moves up, which makes it the cheapest integrity check the HUD offers: the number on the floor is the state of the run, and the sparks around it are decoration. Here it just climbs.

Crossing ribbons: assign hands before the twist

At 016'462'282 the chart twists a violet and cyan beam into a single ribbon that crosses from the left lanes over the center. Crossing shapes reward deciding the hand assignment before the crossing, not during it: the left hand owns the Shift side where the ribbon starts, the right takes over where it ends, and the eyes stay on the junction instead of chasing either end.

  3. 6

Hold knobs pay the midchart's rent

At 028'693'596 the watermark stands at 390 while gold hexagonal hold knobs burn under the center lanes. Holds are quiet score: they judge on release as much as on press, and a PERFECT DIVE cannot afford a dropped tail. This film's player rides them without re-pressing — the hexagons stay lit, the chain keeps moving, and the counter crosses twenty-eight million mid-hold.

The middle: field beams and the climb past 800

  1. 7

Field beams flood the lanes — read the edges

At 042'632'590 a full-width cyan field beam floods the center lanes while a green laser sweeps the right. The field covers what it covers, and EXACT calls keep landing inside it; the readable part of the frame is what the beam leaves visible — the lane edges and the timing of the sweep. Charts at this tier use flood moments to hide rhythm changes, and the edges are where the changes peek out.

  2. 8

Past 800: the chart stops teaching

At 063'568'348 the watermark reads 864 — well past the midpoint — with three EXACT calls sharing the line under a bracketed beam. From here Monitoring cycles the vocabulary it taught in the opening minute at shorter intervals: beam, ribbon, hold, sweep. The run's problem stops being technique and becomes stamina of attention, so treat each cycle as a checkpoint rather than a threat.

The close: the wall, the total on the floor, the receipt

  1. 9

The wall: five calls, one line

At 094'356'987 five EXACT calls share one judgment line under a yellow laser burst — the densest instant this film samples. Rows like this are why the total matters: the chart stops offering groups and starts offering walls, and the hands that survive are the ones counting lanes, not chasing colors. A row later the watermark passes 1300 and the run enters its last thirty notes.

Monitoring FBD 11's densest wall puts five EXACT calls on one In Falsus judgment line at 094'356'987 under a yellow laser

  2. 10

The total stands on the floor: 1359

The last notes land between the previous frame and here, and the emptied field prints the run's third account of the chart: the chain watermark stands at 1359 while the HUD already holds the final 100'001'336. Judgment rows, MAX LINK, watermark — the same number in three places before the game has even rendered the result card.

  3. 11

PERFECT DIVE: every note accounted for

The PERFECT DIVE banner crosses the darkened highway. The game prints it only when every note in the chart was judged EXACT — zero NEAR, zero BREAK — which is what makes this film a note-count source at all: a run with a single slip would leave the watermark honest but the banner unprintable.

The PERFECT DIVE banner certifies an all-EXACT full chain of Monitoring FBD 11 across the darkened In Falsus highway
PERFECT DIVE: the full-chain banner. No NEAR, no BREAK.Watch at
  4. 12

    Three closures on one card

Settled: 100'001'336 at rank EX+, and the card closes the run three ways. The judgment rows sum to the chart total — EXACT 1336 plus a second EXACT row of 23, NEAR 0, BREAK 0 = 1,359 = the printed MAX LINK. The score closes against its own best — 099'964'541 + 000'036'795 = 100'001'336, exactly the printed DIFFERENCE. And the community wiki's FBD total for Monitoring agrees with all of it, digit for digit. The IOTA slot reads ENCOUNTER UNLINKED, and the uploader's own "MAX-23" tag matches the card's second EXACT row of 23.

In Falsus DIVE RESULT settles Monitoring FBD 11 at 100'001'336 rank EX+ with EXACT 1336 plus 23 and MAX LINK 1359
    Settled receipt: 100'001'336, EX+, MAX LINK 1359 — 1,359 notes, closed three ways.Watch at

FAQ

How many notes does Monitoring's FBD 11 chart have?

1,359. The settled card proves it twice on its own face — EXACT 1336 + 23, NEAR 0, BREAK 0 sum to 1,359 and MAX LINK prints the same 1,359 — and the chain watermark stands at 1359 on the emptied field before the card even lands. The community wiki's FBD total, published with the Virtual Singers DLC announcement, agrees digit for digit. The lower rungs carry 322 / 450 / 634 notes (MIN / EVO / ULT).

What does FBD mean in In Falsus?

FORBIDDEN — the hidden tier above ULTIMATE. The select card spells it out on its DIFFICULTY line under the red 11 badge, while the HUD song chip abbreviates it: this film's chip prints FBD 11 next to SPEED 5.20 — that speed is this film's setting, not a recommendation. Monitoring's ladder runs MIN 1 / EVO 4 / ULT 8 / FBD 11.

Was this run assisted?

As far as the film discloses, no. The select card carries no assist tag, the film prints no Assist Mode line, and the one result card it shows renders the IOTA slot as a wide panel reading ENCOUNTER UNLINKED — the same disclosure form recorded on this site's other clean logs. The standing caveat applies: one recording, no second angle.

Do I need the DLC to play Monitoring?

Yes — Monitoring ships with the Virtual Singers Song Pack, the game's first Song Pack DLC, live 2026-09-30 alongside game version 1.0.5. It needs the base game but no story progress: the film's own select card shows a FREEPLAY tag. The pack carries five songs — Monitoring, Non-breath oblige, Roki, Lost One's Weeping and Apparently there's a cheat code to happiness. Pricing varies by region and is not stated on this page.

Who made the chart and the jacket art?

The jacket's ILLUST credit — printed on the select card and listed in the community wiki — reads VIBU. The chart designer is unpublished: the community wiki carries no chart-designer credit for Monitoring on any rung. Beyond the note counts, that credit gap is why this page leans on the film itself — the card is the chart's hardest public evidence.

Does this page spoil the game's story?

No. Monitoring is DLC content and every frame here shows gameplay systems — select card, field, judgments, banner, result card — with no dialogue, story scenes or unlock narrative. The DLC's own framing is left to the announcement; this page only logs one perfect dive.
